Keep That Fuel Tank Full When Parked
This tip is not a revolutionary idea. In fact it has been around for many years. With fuel prices as they are these days, after a long trip we might be tempted to park the coach with a partially filled fuel tank. A large fuel tank such as the ones found on American Coach products, when partially filled, tends to breathe due to changes in the temperature between day and night. During the nighttime hours, the tank will draw in cool moist air. In turn, the moisture will condense and settle in the warmer fuel in the form of water ! In order to minimize this natural condensation, it is a good idea to top off your fuel tank as the last official act before parking your coach. |
